The series is created by the artist behind Papercut Stories, Kalliopi Kousouri, an architect and a mum of two boys – when she s not being a paper-cutter! Kalliopi lives and works between Athens and London, and loves to infuse her work with both cultures and idiosyncrasies. Its true architects love precision and clean cuts and this is the same with papercutting. However opposite to building, with papercutting, little pieces of paper get taken slowly away till the final story is revealed. Her love for this medium is the journey of taking something common and ordinary as a piece of paper and through attention and dedication becomes something precious and unique.
